Trailblazer races are now part of the Trail Mix Fund!

In an effort to improve diversity in trail racing and remove a potential barrier for the under-served and under-represented, the Trail Mix Fund pays the race registration fee for runners who cannot afford it or aren’t sure they belong in the sport. We also believe that there are runners in the BIPOC & LGBTQ+ communities who would like to race but aren’t comfortable taking that step of signing up and coming out on race day. Waiving the registration fee alone won’t solve this problem, but maybe it can help some. Trailblazer Running's partnership with the Trail Mix Fund is new for 2024 and we hope you'll consider donating or applying!

How does the process work?

  • Apply to the Trail Mix Fund at least two weeks prior to race day

  • The TMF will review your application and approve or deny it within two weeks, usually sooner.

  • If you are approved, your entry fee will be waived
